The SICK part number 1053422 is a component within the POMUX KH53 series of non-contact linear encoders. It features a read head positioned above an inductive scale, allowing for friction-free operation and high repeatability precision of 0.3 mm or 1 mm. The device supports SSI and PROFIBUS interfaces and can detect absolute positions without reference runs. Designed for harsh environments, it accommodates a gap redundancy of up to 55 mm ± 20 mm between the read head and sensor elements.
