The ADV476KP40 is a CMOS monolithic color palette RAM-DAC designed for VGA and Personal System/2 graphics applications. It integrates a 256x18-bit color lookup table, pixel mask register, and triple 6-bit video D/A converters on a single chip. The device supports pipelined operation at up to 40 MHz, enabling simultaneous display of 256 colors from a 262,144-color palette. It features RS-343A/RS-170 compatible outputs and standard MPU interface for asynchronous access to internal registers. Constructed with +5V CMOS technology, it offers low power dissipation in a 28-pin DIP package.
