Analog Devices Announces Company-Wide Price Increase Effective September 13, 2026

WILMINGTON, Mass. – August 11, 2026 — Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI), the global leading supplier of high-performance analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing integrated circuits, has officially notified global distributors and direct customers of a comprehensive product price adjustment, which will take effect on September 13, 2026.

This marks the second round of price hikes rolled out by ADI in 2026, following the first global pricing revision implemented on February 1 earlier this year. In the official customer letter signed by Katsunakamura, Chief Customer Officer of ADI, the semiconductor giant elaborated on the core drivers behind the latest pricing policy.

ADI stated that the business is facing unprecedented broad-based demand expansion fueled by robust growth across artificial intelligence, industrial automation, automotive electronics, renewable energy and aerospace markets. Meanwhile, continuous inflationary pressures throughout the semiconductor supply chain, including rising wafer fabrication, packaging & testing, raw material, labor, energy and logistics costs, have greatly squeezed operating margins.

The revenue generated from this price adjustment will be fully reinvested into expanding internal wafer fabs, assembly and test facilities. The capacity expansion plan is designed to ease long lead times, elevate supply chain resilience, diversify global manufacturing layout and guarantee stable product delivery for worldwide clients in the long run.

Similar to the February adjustment, ADI will apply differentiated markup standards to different product grades: commercial standard components will see a moderate increase, industrial-grade chips will adopt a higher adjustment ratio, while nearly 1,000 military-qualified components with /883 suffix will bear the maximum increase (max 30% as per internal industry briefing). The new pricing rules cover all pending unshipped orders, and already fulfilled shipments will remain under the original contract price.

Industry analysts pointed out that ADI’s successive price increases are not an isolated incident. Texas Instruments (TI), NXP Semiconductors and other top European and American analog IC manufacturers have also rolled out partial or full-line price revisions in Q3 and Q4 2026, reflecting the overall tight supply and cost-driven cycle of the global analog semiconductor sector.

For electronic component purchasers, design engineers and downstream manufacturing enterprises, there is a limited window before September 13 to lock in inventory and optimize BOM cost budgeting for ongoing R&D and mass production projects.
